MISSOURI, USA — U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) was openly critical of U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Missouri 2nd District)as she has voiced concerns about the cost of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act.
Now, Hawley is calling on the House of Representatives to quickly pass RECA. The Senate passed the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act on Thursday. President Joe Biden has already said he’d sign it into law, but it faces an uncertain future in the House.

The St. Charles City-County Library Board postpones vote to decide fate of 3 libraries
Protesters gathered outside the newly renovated Spencer Road library branch Tuesday night.
Holding signs that say “Save our Libraries,” the demonstrators were calling for officials at the St. Charles City-County Library district to not move forward with a plan they proposed in May. If passed, the Kisker Road and McClay branches would close by June 30. The Deer Run branch would close after renovations are completed at the Middendorf Kredell Branch in O’Fallon.
